8.40% on commercial land-based and tribal sportsbooks
9.65% on commercial online sportsbooks
TAX REVENUE ALLOCATION
The majority of sports betting tax revenue supports the School Aid Fund and $2 million annually goes to helping firefighters undergoing cancer treatments.
LICENSE FEES
$150,000 in initial license fee, including a $50,000 application fee
$50,000 annual renewal fee
OFFICIAL DATA MANDATE
Data mandate for in-play betting unless operators can convince Michigan Gaming Control Board that data is being offered at commercially unreasonable terms.
