Washington, DC – American Gaming Association (AGA) President and CEO Geoff Freeman today was named one of the top association lobbyists of 2016 by Washington, D.C. newspaper The Hill:

The top card for the casino lobby, Freeman is leading the charge against the federal ban on sports betting.

The AGA has been proactively building a coalition of key stakeholders in support of overturning the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (PASPA), the federal sports betting ban that only allows full sports betting in Nevada. Last week marked the 24th anniversary of the failed federal law that is driving a $150 billion illegal sports betting market.
