Eloy Martinez currently serves as senior director of government relations for the American Gaming Association. In this role, Martinez works to advance AGA’s public policy, political and advocacy agendas. He also works closely with congressional coalitions and caucuses on matters related to diversity and inclusion, as well as community and corporate social responsibility.
Martinez spent nearly 8 years working on Capitol Hill, principally in the U.S. Senate. During his time on Capitol Hill, he served as an associate director, director of outreach and as staff director for the Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee under the leadership of former Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Senate Chairs Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and former Senator Mark Begich (D-AK).
Eloy is originally from Texas and has a degree from Texas Lutheran University (TLU) in English and mass communication studies. He was recently a recipient of the 2014 TLU Outstanding Young Alumni Award. He currently lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife.
