Casey Clark is vice president, strategic communications of the American Gaming Association (AGA). In his role, Clark is responsible for developing and executing upon a comprehensive communication strategy to protect and enhance the reputation of the $240 billion gaming industry.
Prior to joining AGA in September 2017, Clark was a managing director in the corporate communications practice at FTI Consulting, a global business consultancy. In his 12 years of corporate, crisis and advocacy communication consulting at both FTI and Burson-Marsteller, Clark managed a wide range of client relationships, including public and private companies in highly scrutinized industries, trade associations and non-profit organizations. His positioning experience includes award-winning, comprehensive communication programs comprising of issues advocacy, messaging, corporate responsibility, traditional and social media relations, industry relations, and CEO positioning.
Earlier in his career, Clark served as deputy chief of staff and director of executive communications at the American Chemistry Council (ACC), providing strategic counsel to the president and CEO of the leading industry trade association and managing executive office communications. He supported ACC’s communication activity around its most critical programs and policy priorities including transportation, safety and security, while assisting in the development of a multimillion dollar industry reputation program.
Prior to joining ACC, Clark held several positions in the Executive Office of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, most recently serving as director of operations where he managed both a domestic and international agenda for the world’s largest business federation.
Clark, a proud graduate of the University of Dayton, lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and three children.
