CBS Baltimore: Maryland casinos contribute $1.4B to state's economy

As Maryland casinos earn record revenues, CBS Baltimore reported on a new study conducted by Oxford Economics that examines the vast, positive economic impact of the gaming industry on Maryland’s economy. Gaming in Maryland contributes $1.4 billion to state's economy; supports 8,000 Maryland jobs and $359 million in income; and generates $543 million in tax revenues to local, state and federal governments.
