ABC Pensacola: Gaming contributes $1.2B to Florida's economy

ABC Pensacola reported on a new study conducted by Oxford Economics that examines the vast, positive economic impact of the gaming industry on Florida’s economy. Gaming in Florida contributes $1.2 billion to state's economy; supports 7,500 Florida jobs and $359 million in income; and generates $543 million in tax revenues to local, state and federal governments--enough to pay 10,000 teachers' salaries.
