American Gaming Association Recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic employees make significant contributions to casino gaming

Press Release | 09.15.2014

Washington, DC –American Gaming Association President and CEO Geoff Freeman released the following statement recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins today and continues through October 15:

“The gaming industry is grateful to the thousands of Hispanic employees across the country who make significant contributions to the world-class entertainment experience we provide. From Nevada to New York and everywhere in between, casino gaming’s workforce is more diverse than the U.S. workforce overall, and we’re proud to offer more generous benefits, such as health care and retirement plans, than other industries. While we recognize the many contributions of Hispanic Americans during Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re committed to helping our employees advance their careers and achieve their goals all year long.”
