Responsible Gaming Education Week

The ninth annual Responsible Gaming Education Week is Aug. 7-11, 2006. This year’s theme, “Be Responsible. Get Educated,” expresses the gaming entertainment industry’s dedication to providing our employees with thorough responsible gaming education and training. And with the official launch this year of EMERGE (Executive, Management & Employee Responsible Gaming Education), a Web-based training program developed by the Institute for Pathological Gambling and Related Disorders, the “Be Responsible. Get Educated.” theme links our industry efforts with the latest practical, science-based solutions being developed by researchers in the field of pathological gambling.

The AGA is offering a number of collateral materials in both English and Spanish to help you promote Responsible Gaming Education Week, as well as the popular “Keep it Fun” responsible gaming awareness wristbands. Use the links to the right to preview and order materials.  And check back here in mid-July for access to more responsible gaming activities and resources designed to help promote Responsible Gaming Education Week at your property and in the community.
