Responsible Gaming Education Week

This year, the American Gaming Association (AGA) is celebrating the 10th annual Responsible Gaming Education Week (RGEW), scheduled for Aug. 6-10, 2007. The theme of this year’s campaign, “Responsible Gaming: In Your Own Words,” attempts to expand both the level of employee participation in Responsible Gaming Education Week and augment a culture in which employees and AGA members think about responsible gaming education throughout the year.

"Responsible Gaming: In Your Own Words" aims to engage employees at all levels in not only the celebration of RGEW, but the creation of the campaign.  As part of this effort, the AGA sponsored a poster and essay contest for gaming employees across the country.  The winning essays will be published in the book In Their Own Words: Voices of Responsible Gaming, and the winning poster designs will be part of the Responsible Gaming Poster series, with one design serving as the graphic centerpiece for this year's RGEW materials

We hope that all members of the gaming industry will come together to celebrate this very special 10th anniversary RGEW.  Information on ordering collateral materials for the week, as well as other resources, are available at right.
