Periodically, the AGA commissions studies to examine diversity in the gaming industry.  The diversity snapshots below measure diversity in spending and hiring by casino companies.

Gaming Industry: Employment Diversity Snapshot

In 2000, the casino gaming industry, through the Diversity Task Force of the American Gaming Association (AGA), commissioned a study to establish a baseline of workforce diversity in the industry. The original study has been followed up twice, in 2003 and again in 2008.

Gaming Industry: Spend Diversity Snapshot 2008 is intended to establish a baseline assessment of the spending behavior of casino companies with diverse vendors, specifically minority-owned business enterprises (MBE), woman-owned business enterprises (WBE), and disadvantaged-owned business enterprises (DBE).
