Launched in 2009 and held in conjunction with the Congressional Black Caucus Political Education and Leadership Institute’s Mississippi Policy Conference in Tunica, Miss., the AGA Diverse Vendor of the Year Awards give AGA members the opportunity to honor top disadvantaged or minority- or women-owned businesses doing business with the gaming industry. Winners are nominated by individual gaming companies, and the AGA allows its members to determine the selection criteria.
