Statement by Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr. President and CEO American Gaming Association

The House of Representatives today passed H.R. 497, creating the National Gambling Impact Study Commission. With the adoption of the significant structural changes proposed by the Senate, including less intrusive subpoena powers, the legislation provides the commission the tools necessary to conduct a fair and balanced study of the gaming industry, while recognizing the privacy rights of our customers and the privileged business information of our companies.
