Contact

Brian Lehman
(202) 552-2680

What: Gaming industry leaders, members of the Atlantic City community and gaming employees will come together to help the American Gaming Association (AGA) and the National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG) kick off the 10th anniversary of Responsible Gaming Education Week (RGEW).

During the event, principals will unveil the winners of the AGA’s national employee responsible gaming poster and essay contest, which drew more than 170 entrants, and will discuss responsible gaming efforts in Atlantic City and beyond.

Held annually during the first week of August, this program is part of the AGA’s Responsible Gaming National Education Campaign.  The theme of this year’s RGEW campaign, “Responsible Gaming: In Your Own Words,” was chosen as a way to energize the level of employee participation in RGEW and encourage employees to think about what responsible gaming means to them during RGEW and throughout the year.

Principals will be available to the press following the conclusion of the afternoon’s formal proceedings.

Who:   Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO, AGA
