Casino Publishing Group Promotes Readers' Right to be Heard

LAS VEGAS - Casino Publishing Group, Inc. (CJPG:OTCBB), in an effort to encourage grass-roots activism among its readers, has donated advertising space in two of its publications to Americans for Casino Entertainment (ACE), a newly formed citizens advocacy group. The ads are a part of an ongoing marketing campaign between Casino Publishing Group and ACE.

The promotional kick-off includes a full-page advertisement endorsing ACE, which represents the views of individuals who enjoy casino entertainment. The ad - stamped with the phrase “Don’t let big government gamble with your freedom” - will appear in every issue of Casino Player and Strictly Slots, the magazine publisher’s consumer publications reaching casino customers, at no cost to ACE.

ACE was created by the American Gaming Association (AGA), the national trade organization that represents the country’s commercial casinos, to disseminate facts about gaming entertainment to elected officials and the public. Currently, ACE has enrolled more than 4,000 members. Casino Publishing Group expects that the ads will increase ACE membership and strengthen the group’s voice against the anti-gambling lobby.

“We think it’s important that our readers not only be informed about the issues affecting their rights to enjoy casino gaming, but also have an outlet for voicing their opposition to legislation that threatens the freedom to gamble legally and responsibly,” said Glenn Fine, chairman and CEO of Casino Publishing Group. “These ads are a way for ACE to get its message out, and Casino Publishing Group wants to help with that effort.”

The first ad appeared in the June issue of Strictly Slots and the July issue of Casino Player - the year’s “Best of Gaming” edition.

Fahrenkopf, Jr. “Casino Player and Strictly Slots are two of the most widely read publications for our customers, so working together makes sense. The free advertising space will provide a big boost to our recruiting efforts for ACE.”

The AGA represents the commercial casino-entertainment industry by addressing federal legislative and regulatory issues. The association also serves as a clearinghouse for information, develops educational and advocacy programs, and provides leadership on industry-related issues of public concern.
