JCM/AGA Golf Classic Expands to the East Coast

Saturday, March 1, 2003

JCM American Corporation and the American Gaming Association (AGA) are doubling their efforts to raise funds for disordered gambling research. Due to the overwhelming success of the JCM/AGA Golf Classic held in Las Vegas, JCM and the AGA have added a new charity golf tournament in Atlantic City, N.J.

The Atlantic City JCM/AGA Golf Classic will be held May 20 at the Seaview Marriott.

Co-sponsored by Cooper Levenson April Niedelman & Wagenheim, the event precedes the Mid-Atlantic Gaming Congress, which also is a Cooper Levenson-sponsored event.

The Las Vegas golf tournament, now in its fifth year, will be held May 12 at TPC Summerlin.

Proceeds from both tournaments benefit the NCRG, the only nonprofit organization to fund independent, peer-reviewed research on disordered gambling. Since the golf tournament debuted in 1999, the event has raised more than $215,000 for the NCRG. Last year, a record $65,000 in golf tournament proceeds was donated to the NCRG.

For more information on the JCM/AGA Golf Classic in Las Vegas or Atlantic City, contact Michele Crawford at JCM American at 702-651-3434, or e-mail her atmcrawford@jcm-american.com.
