AGA Publishes Second Edition of Statutes and Regulations Publication

Thursday, January 1, 2004

The first-of-its-kind resource guide to responsible gaming statutory and regulatory language has been revised to incorporate the latest changes in the 11 commercial casino states.

The second edition of Responsible Gaming Statutes and Regulations includes new voluntary self-exclusion programs in Illinois, Indiana and Louisiana; new Louisiana regulations that allow patrons to self-limit their access to credit, check cashing and direct mail; and newly relaxed regulations regarding credit in Iowa.

The content is divided into the general categories of alcohol service; credit/cash access; funding/revenue sharing, including treatment funding; self-exclusion; signage/help line/advertising; training/education; and miscellaneous topics such as loss limits/limited stakes and direct mail/marketing. The publication also includes an updated chart providing an overview of types of statutes and regulations by state.

You can view Responsible Gaming Statutes and Regulations online or order copies at the e-store.
