Indoor Air Quality

Background

AGA members are committed to managing the indoor environment in casinos in a manner that provides the highest level of safety and comfort for their employees and customers.

Smoking in public places and indoor air quality has increasingly become a state-level issue, and several gaming jurisdictions have implemented smoking bans. As the AGA deals primarily with federal legislative and regulatory matters, the AGA board has determined that indoor air quality issues will be addressed on a company-by-company basis, jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction basis. Therefore, the AGA takes no position on state- and local-level smoking bans and regulations.
