Leading BLITZ's business development and marketing departments, Matt is responsible for the overall growth of the agency, as well as driving awareness to the company. Working closely with all of BLITZ's various discipline leads, Matt's role is most similar to that of a covert CIA operative – identify the target (aka client's problem), leverage strategy and data/insights to create a plan, and assemble the right team members to get the job done. Additionally, Matt's approach focuses on the notion that "people buy people”, and that by developing connections which extend beyond the project we can transform single engagements into long-term business relationships. Prior to BLITZ, Matt spent roughly a decade working for large scale hospitality and entertainment companies (on both the creative and communications side), and eventually made the transition to agency life - most recently serving as Director of Business Development for JWT/Digitaria.
