COMMISSION: FINDINGS

In June 1999, the National Gambling Impact Study Commission completed its two-year study of the social and economic impacts of legalized gambling. The final report confirmed the contributions of commercial casinos and put to rest many of the myths and superstitions perpetuated by opponents of the gaming industry.
